Beretta Nano

The Beretta Nano is Beretta's first ever striker-fired pistol, a handgun developed for ease of use and concealment.

The Nano has been designed to give an individually satisfying shooting experience. To begin, its lightweight frame made of thermoplastics reinforced with fiberglass technopolymer makes it easy to carry. The gun can be termed as an ambidextrous gun. It comes equipped with a reversible magazine release button and can be used in both hands. It features a low profile dovetail white dot front mount and an adjustable rear sight. The sights can be adjusted by anyone using a 1.3mm hexwrench and your fingers, effectively removing assistance of a gunsmith.

Unique to the Beretta Nano is a built-in recessed striker deactivation button. This means that the trigger need not be removed when you disassemble the handgun. The internal striker mechanism can be deactivated and hence the notorious legends of disassembly misfire. Furthermore, the handgun comes equipped with an automatic block that prevents forward movement of striker unless the trigger is completely pulled to the rear. The crisp motion and long pull of the trigger may need some getting used to but do remember that it is part of the trigger safety that stops the trigger from traveling rearward due to inertia if the gun were to drop from a height.

Another unique aspect that couples greatly with the snag free design is that the Nano has no external slide catch release lever. The only way to close the slide catch is to completely pull it rearward and release it, with or without a magazine present. Coupled this with the designed absence of a magazine disconnect safety allowing it to be fired anytime the cartridge is in the chamber makes the Nano extremely useful during emergencies.

The Nano presents great customizability. The only serialized part of the handgun is its internal chassis, making it the only part that can legally be termed a 'firearm'. The rest of the handgun is paradise for handgun lovers and modifiers to use swappable items.

The Beretta Nano is surprisingly accurate for its size and has proved reliable with negligible FTE issues reported so far. Flawless function, great trigger and super accurate snag free design making it a breeze to pocket and absence of levers and things makes it the perfect handgun for short range sport and for personal defense. The Nano's modular structure, ergonomics and ease of use makes the Beretta Nano the ideal firearm for concealed carry.
